OSHA RESULTS

On 3/5/2020 two OSHA inspectors arrived at Good Earth Tools to determine if there are reasonable grounds to believe that a violation of an OSHA standard or a safety or health hazard exists.

In addition to the employee air sampling, wipe samples and one bulk sample were also collected by OSHA for testing.

I am very pleased to report the findings from the OSHA testing and inspection.

The inspection has been closed by OSHA with NO VIOLATIONS.

In fact, our engineering controls and safety were so good that Cadmium was NON-DETECTABLE in all of their air sampling tests.

While this is great news, it is not surprising as we work hard to provide a workplace that is free from serious hazards as recognized by OSHA.   Good Earth Tools works everyday to comply and often exceed the standards, rules, and regulations that the OSH Act has issued.

COVID - 19

As the county, the state, and the country continue the process of reopening, Good Earth Tools will as well. However, one thing is clear: COVID-19 is not going away soon, and we all have to learn to live with it while managing our lives and business in the safest way we can.

First and foremost, it is important that we all show respect for other co-workers, including each person's concerns, personal preferences and sensitivities.  While some may feel comfortable around others not in their household, others, for many reasons, do not.  So please continue to practice physical distancing.  Continue to practice good hygiene by washing hands frequently and using hand sanitizers that are stationed throughout the buildings.  If you begin experiencing symptoms typically associated with COVID-19 (click here for COVID symptoms)  please call your healthcare provider and follow the protocol provided and stay home and alert your supervisor or HR.
